AJHP Podcasts
This week marked the end of the journey toward publication of my PGY1 Residency Project in the May 15th issue of AJHP. While I could blog about the ups and downs of becoming "published," I wanted to focus on another opportunity I had during the process. I was invited to participate in an interview about the article in an AJHP podcast, available at
http://www.ajhp.org/site/misc/podcasts.xhtml
.
Now, I thought that I was pretty in tune with the different columns, features, and issues of AJHP. I look forward to reading each issue when it comes out. But I'm a little embarrassed that I was not aware of the AJHP podcasts before I was asked to participate in one. Before recording mine, I took the opportunity to listen to a couple of the existing podcasts, and I learned a lot just from a few minutes of each. I haven't yet started listening on the way to work, but that's definitely something I'll look into in the future. That's one of the highlights of podcasts: they're portable, so you can listen anywhere. And it's free too!
So if you're in the same boat as me and haven't heard about the AJHP podcasts, I encourage you to take a little bit of time and listen to one (maybe even mine!).
