Prepare to take the next step in advancing your practice by earning your Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Certification. The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the American Pharmacists Association have teamed up to help ambulatory care pharmacists prepare for the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Specialty Certification Examination.

This two-day course provides a robust preparatory curriculum for the ambulatory care pharmacy professional preparing for the examination, offered in October. Designed based on the domains, tasks, and knowledge statements developed by BPS for the examination, the course will help you prepare for the exam by identifying areas needed for in-depth review of the ambulatory care pharmacy issues by:

  • Reviewing pertinent clinical topics and practice skills
  • Providing exam practice questions
  • Listing valuable resources for further self-study

Pharmacists can confidently prepare for the BPS newest certification, Ambulatory Care Pharmacy, with this cutting-edge educational programming!
This course is also eligible for recertification credit after successful completion of an online assessment which will be available four weeks after the live course.  Of special note: if you participated in this review course in 2010-2011, you are not eligible to claim this 2012 course for recertification credit for this year.  Go to www.ashp.org/certications for further details and other opportunities for recertification credit.

Live educational review courses for the specialty in ambulatory care practice will be offered immediately before the ASHP 2012 Summer Meeting, June 9-13, 2012.
