USP <800> have you baffled? Not sure how to move forward?
A triad of free assistance is now available, all via the Compounding Today website:
- A completely revised USP <800> Preparation Checklist replaces an earlier version posted about a year ago. Based on additional research and experience, this tool will allow you to systematically evaluate your current compliance with 800, and plan how to close any identified gaps.
- A Hazardous Drug Consensus Statement (HDCS), the collaborative product of a large number of experts, provides detailed guidance and recommendations on hazardous drug handling, especially topics only lightly covered by 800. As the HDCS is organized in parallel to the USP <800> Preparation Checklist, users can rapidly refer to it for help completing the Checklist.
- A set of Excel-based Risk Assessment templates which can assist the user in this critical step of performing the risk assessment required by 800.
