Tweet Tweet: Notch It Up with #ashpsm

If you are a Summer Meeting or Medication Safety Collaborative attendee, you’ll want to join the twitter feed to maximize your learning, connecting, and fun in Minneapolis. Follow the hashtag #ashpsm on Twitter and you’ll find an exciting way to broaden your horizons.  A few past attendees described it this way:

“I could be in multiple places at once- without being there!”

“It's a quick visual snapshot in real time of events going on through the eyes of the attendees.”

If you’ve never tweeted before this is a great time to start!  If you need some help –   just look for someone with a smartphone at the Summer Meeting who looks very engaged and start up a conversation. Or go here or here to get going.

Twitter Contest Rules for the 2013 Summer Meeting

For this meeting, the attendee whose gets re-tweeted about their meeting experiences the greatest number of times will win the contest. The competition will be based on tweets posted between May 31 and June 6, 2013 that include the hashtag #ashpsm.  At least half of your retweets must be from a Summer Meeting attendee or a Medication Safety Collaborative attendee.  (While we encourage companies and organizations to tweet with us, only individuals are eligible to win the contest.)

That’s it – those are the rules and the rest is up to you!  So join the fun with your interesting, clever, newsy, engaging tweets that inspire your colleagues to share and retweet!  Add some pictures of what you’re experiencing to increase interest and the likelihood of being retweeted.   See more tips here.

Add #ptsafey to your tweets if they are about the Medication Safety Collaborative for maximum exposure (and help with your retweets).

The first prize will be a $50 gift card to Amazon, a customized twitter mug, and the infamous twitter winner icon!  Second and third prizes will be a customized twitter mug. There will be a separate content for ASHP employee also.
