By Colleen Bush Unpublished

There was a lot of inspirational and message-driven tweeting going on during the ASHP Summer Meeting and Medication Collaborative in Minneapolis (hashtag #ashpsm).  Tweetreach wasused to collect hashtag statistics and determine the twitter contest winners. The attendee contest was based on being re-tweeted the greatest number of times between May 31 and June 6. Here are some stats from the tweeting that occurred:

  • 183 people tweeted using #ashpsm

661 tweets were created (Split almost equally between tweets and retweets)

These tweets reached 96,393 people (includes tweeters & their followers)

Exposure was 941,074 (reach times # of impressions)

The peak day of tweets was Monday a.m., June 3 during the Opening Session and Keynote

This year’s first place winner is (ta, da!) Rablih Dabliz (@rdabliz).  Congratulations to Rabih who wins a $50 gift card to Amazon, a customized twitter mug, and a "Twitter Winner" icon.

The second place winner is Jamie Matthews (@jamie3_matthews. And coming in third place is Jerry Fahrni (@JFahrni).  Jamie and Jerry each win a customized twitter mug.

Our twitter winners helped spread positive messages about the meeting, the pharmacy profession, and what was happening.  A peek at a few of their tweets demonstrate their enthusiasm:

(@rdabliz : It's very inspiring to meet the authors of the first MSO book. Can't wait to read it! #ptsafety#ashpsmhttp://t.co/WeNlkG9tpV
