Biography

Cody Parsons, APh, PharmD, BCCCP currently serves as the Manager of Clinical Operations for Stanford Health Care's (SHC) Cardiovascular Health (CVH) Service Line. Cody's position is a mixed clinical and administrative position. Cody manages SHC's STEMI program, The Joint Commission and American Heart Association Comprehensive Cardiac Center Certification, and the Inpatient Cardiac Rehab Program and team. He additionally manages the CVH Quality Team, including the CVH related data registries. Other responsibilities include active participation in both CVH, hospital, and network wide quality initiatives and programmatic expansion within the Stanford Medicine Network. Cody currently serves as a consultant for IBM Watson Health's Micromedex and NeoFax platforms. Previously, Cody worked as both a CVH clinician and an emergency medicine and trauma clinician at SHC. Cody's past professional experience includes residency training at SHC and MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. Cody has previously interned with the US Food and Drug Administration through the Junior Commissioned Officer Student Training and Extern Program offered by the US Public Health Service in Silver Spring. Cody's clinical area of focus in pharmacy is critical care and other interests include hospital administration, regulation, and LGBTQ+ care. Cody was born and raised in Delphos, OH and currently resides in San Francisco, CA. When not working, Cody enjoys reading, outdoor activities, and most importantly being with loved ones, including his husband and their German Shepherd.
