Promotional Theater Info

Promotional Theaters provide an opportunity for commercial organizations to present information about their products, services, or therapeutic areas to pharmacists attending the ASHP 2017 Summer Meetings & Exhibition. The material presented in Promotional Theaters may be promotional and may concentrate on a specific product. Therefore, these sessions are considered promotional and do not offer continuing pharmacy education credit.

  • Listing available in mid February

Eligibility

Organizations are not required to be exhibitors at the ASHP Summer Meetings to sponsor a Promotional Theater. However, non-exhibiting companies must meet ASHP's qualifications for exhibitors as specified in the Exhibitor Rules and Regulations [PDF].

Application for Promotional Theater will open on February 1.

 

 

Advertising & Marketing

NOTE: Companies may not use the ASHP logo or name ASHP as a co-sponsor. Marketing materials promoting your event may not be distributed in any area of the Convention Center except within the exhibitor’s booth in the Exhibit Hall.

AJHP & ASHP Summer Meeting News & Views

Reach attendees at the 2017 ASHP Summer Meetings and Exhibition by advertising in:

  • The June 1 issue of AJHP (circulation: 43,000+), which will offer bonus distribution at the meeting.
  • ASHP 2017 Summer Meeting News & Views, the daily meeting newspaper published four times during the meeting. Advertising in News & Views is limited to exhibitors only.

ASHP Mailing Lists and Email Options

Add more to your marketing and promote your business to preregistrants at the ASHP 2017 Summer Meetings and Exhibition via direct mail and email. Mailing lists should be ordered at least 30 days before the meeting to ensure delivery for a premeeting mailing. If you are sponsoring a symposium, you may purchase links on our website to pages to provide additional program details including session agendas, speakers, objectives, and a link for online registration.

Meeting Registration Bag Insert Service

COST: $3,350
ASHP will arrange for distribution of your product literature, special booth promotions, products and services, CE monographs, and press releases. The Meeting Registration Bag Insert will be distributed to attendees as they check in for the conference. The due date for approved preprinted materials is May 24.

Press/Media Information

ASHP meetings are covered by a broad range of healthcare media. To receive a list of media outlets that send representatives to ASHP meetings or to arrange for a press conference at the Convention Center, please contact Jocelyn Milford. Exhibitors wishing to display media kits during the meeting should bring materials to the onsite Press Room for approval by the Communications staff.
