While the article appears in the New Practitioners' column, the principles in the article apply to pharmacy students, residents, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians at any stage in their career.
As I mention in the article, I've led workshops on the topic for over 20 years. The foundation for my interest in the topic comes from ASHP Past President David Zilz from my time as resident at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics.
There is a figure that did not make it into the final published version due to page/word limits/restrictions so I've attached it here.
