Learning From Other Pharmacist Leaders

Do you wish you could benefit and learn from other pharmacist’s experiences? The following Theme Excerpts from previous Conversations with Health-System Pharmacists Most Influential Leaders videos have just been posted on the ASHP Foundation’s website (under the Leadership Tab) www.ashpfoundation.org.  These are between 15-30 minutes in length

 Landmark Events: Milestones Shaping the Future of Health-System Pharmacy Max Ray, Joseph Oddis, Mary Jo Reilly, John Gans and Dennis Tribble recall landmark events in pharmacy history, including the stimulus for clinical pharmacy, the development and value of national professional organizations, a pharmacy organization having the only non-governmental building on the National Mall in Washington, DC, and the future of informatics.

 Landmark Events: The Development of SpecializationWilliam Ellis discusses the development, process, value and maintenance of BPS specialty certification.

These videos include lessons learned, events such as the separation from APhA, each person’s career evolution, innovative activities, advice on being successful, and starting and selling businesses.  Each is an hour with a divided Part A and Part B to facilitate discussions along with a podcast option. A short resume and list of publications are included for each person. Also posted on the website is a Discussion Guide.
