Dr. Mourad is an accomplished Senior Pharmacy Manager for the Acute and Ambulatory Care systems at Mayo Clinic, and an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from Damascus University and a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Purdue University. With a rich academic and professional background, Dr. Mourad completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at the Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center in Kentucky, followed by two years of practice as a clinical pharmacist. He later completed a Critical Care Traineeship from the ASHP Research and Education Foundation and a PGY-2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency with Indiana University Health in Indiana. Dr. Mourad is board certified in Pharmacotherapy and Critical Care and is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems. He is passionate about leveraging technology solutions to elevate the quality of patient care delivery and enhance patient safety. Dr. Mourad has been an active member of Section of Pharmacy Informatics for the last ten years and most recently was recognized as a Fellow of ASHP.
