Current Position:
Dr. Anderson manages the development of live & online medical education programs for COVID-19, viral hepatitis, HIV, and other infectious diseases. Responsibilities include faculty recruitment and management, content creation, content editing, content preparation for online & print production, and assisting in development of marketing materials. www.clinicaloptions.com
Scholarly Activities:
Dr. Anderson participates in research and scholarship related to cardiometabolic pharmacotherapy (cardiovascular disease, dyslipidemia, diabetes), transitions of care, and assessment of continuing medical education programs. She has published research articles, review articles, book chapters, editorials, and continuing education materials.
Professional Service:
Dr. Anderson is a fellow of both ASHP and ACCP. She served 3 consecutive terms as an appointed member of the ASHP Council on Therapeutics (COT). She is currently a member of the Section of Ambulatory Care Practitioners (SACP) Education Steering Committee (2019-present). She is past chair of the ACCP Adult Medicine PRN and actively involved in this PRN as well as the Ambulatory Care and Endocrine & Metabolism PRNs. She also serves as an item writer for the ACCP Clinical Pharmacy Challenge. At the state level, Dr. Anderson served a 3-year term on the Colorado Pharmacists Society (CPS) Board of Directors from 2013-2016 and is a actively involved in the Health-System Academy. She is currently serving as a Colorado delegate to the ASHP HOD.
